The Final 2
Well, well, the race for 4th PM is now a two-horse competition.
Horse 1: Heng Swee Keat, Education Minister
Horse 2: Chan Chun Sing, Social and Family Development Minister
In order to better understand the current situation, let's examine the ages of three persons:
2013
Hsien Loong is 61 years old.
Swee Keat is 52.
Chun Sing is 44.
PM Lee has been in power since 2004. He is now 9 years as PM.
Assuming he has intention to be in power for 20 years, another 11 years (in year 2024) would make
Hsien Loong 72 years old.
Swee Keat 63.
Chun Sing 55.
Even at age 63, Swee Keat is still young enough to lead the 4th generation. Chun Sing at 55 would be at a good age, but whether he is politically ready would have to depend on many factors.
Let's be honest, Chuan-Jin and Lawrence were not promoted in the recent promotion exercise and this almost mean they are everything but out of contention.
That leaves the final 2, Heng and Chan.
Chan is hand-picked by Kuan Yew, that's why he is seeded in Tanjong Pagar GRC. As to whether Chan will eventually overtake Heng, no one knows for sure.
But one thing to note, Hsien Loong has assigned Swee Keat to chair the SG50 (50th National Day Committee). This is a sign that PM wants to give Heng a headstart. Heng's seniority over Chan, Tan and Wong also gave him a marginal advantage.
If I am not wrong, PM felt that while Chan is a promising candidate, his disposition presently might not look mature for he to be in a front runner seat. Hence PM put in place Heng to oversee matters.
If Swee Keat does a fantastic job in the coming 11 years, and is able to gather support from his ministers, then he might just be the natural succesor after all.
Perhaps Singapore Pools should start taking bets from the public.

The Full Minister
The President's Scholar who later became COA and then left Army to join Politics is now a Full Minister.
Before that you were just Acting, we all know.
Congrats, MG Chan Chun Sing.
Nevermind you never get a single vote from GE2011, nevermind you have no background in grassroots, and nevermind your famous KeeChiu speech.
And because you are specially hand-picked by Papa Lee,
You even get to be part of the funeral team of Madam Kwa.
This is the true essence of Meritocracy in Singapore.
The President's Scholarship - PASSPORT to Cabinet - the scholarship Hsien Loong also has.
Which is the very reason why our Primary School PSLE kids are so stressed up... because ALL PARENTS know this truth.
Will Ah Sing eventually becomes the Prime Minister of Singapore ?
Honestly, he is the chosen one.
But Hsien Loong put Swee Keat before him because he understands that Chun Sing is not that ready yet.
Even if Chun Sing must be PM, someone must warm the seat first.
The day might come when PAP is fully under this funny man.
No offense, Ah Sing, your clowny disposition might just win you the support you need, as compared to Chuan-Jin the very serious man, or Ah Cai the flamboyant.
Remember, Photos don't lie.
God Bless!

The Future of GRCs
In GE2011, about 40% of Singaporeans voted for the opposition.
But only 6 opposition members managed to get into parliament, against 81 PAP members.
This was just a tiny 7%.
( The 7th member added in 2013 made the percentage just look slightly better at 8%.)
Why is that so?
This is the effect of The Redrawing of Electoral Boundaries, or what many called as Gerry-Mandering.
The tactic of GRC coupled with nicely drawn lines are the very reason why PAP has been able to control the parliament.
But if PAP really wants to play the game this way, there is Glad Tidings for the opposition camp.
Let me explain.
Assuming one day, the opposition percentage rises from 40% to 49%, the game will start to have a twist.
If you look at the diagram i provided, you will see that once the Blue Team's support is as high as 43 out of 87, or rather 49.42528%, they will not just secure just 1 GRC and 2 SMCs.
Rather, it shall be approximately 6 GRCs and 8 SMCs (out of 15 GRCs and 12 SMCs).
How can it be?? You might ask...
This is the law of Mathematics: patterns, groupings and distribution.
If a group of 30% opposition supporters gathered in a region, the PAP could easily cut the pie and evenly distribute them into minorities in various GRCs.
If the percentage rises to 40%, only 1 GRC and 2 SMCs are in the pockets of the Blue Team.
But when the odds rises to nearly 50%, even a 49.9 can start a domino effect and cause a shakeup.
If you do not believe in my theory, just simply:
1. Get a piece of paper
2. Draw 44 circles and 43 crosses.
3. Randomly divided them into 15 groups of (4,5,6) and 12 singles.
4. Try as much as possible to give the circles(The PAP) an advantage and make the crosses just minorities in the group.
You will be surprised how many Wins the Crosses can get.
And with that, may God help the Blues.
Thia Khiang was actually grinning from ear to ear... haha
All the opposition needs is to convince another 9% of the eligible voters to SWING their votes to the BLUES.
And I assure you that day will come.

BN's National Day Message 9 Aug 2013
Dear fellow Singaporeans,
It is a privilege to be able to address my fellow citizens in the Golden Era of our country.
Singapore has never been so prosperous. As mentioned by PM Lee last night, unemployment rate is kept low and the country's community has been very cohesive.
During the Haze attack in June, we can see how we as a nation come together to put the N95 masks in the community, for the needies. The Haze is an example of a National Emergency. We must always stay vigilant and prepared by attacks of the nature.
Today as we celebrate our 48th National Day, I would like to highlight an important aspect of Nationalism.
There is a time to support the ruling party and there is a time to support your own belief.
You must always ask yourself, is the ruling Party still in touch with the ground? Or are we as a community more cohesive among ourselves instead?
Let me give you an example:
The MDA new ruling on licensing the online news websites.
Are we having a government that is over-regulating the community, to the extent of even the netizens? Is this a sign that the government is worried of people sharing information in the cyberspace?
The government warns us against DRUMS - Distortions, Rumours, Untruths, Misinformation and Smears. They are thus trying very hard to clean up the social media. Are they actually insinuating that people have no brains to discern what is true and what is false?
How about the newspaper that we read everyday? Or the TV and Radio? Is every word spoken or written through these mainstream media always FACTS? Or are they just OPINIONS?
If you read the night papers, you would find it easy to read speculating news by the reporters about celebrities. Should we thus ban them ALL AT ONCE??
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are Singaporeans and if you are reading my message, I bet you are likely to be an active Netizen. When the country first started in 1965, the media was controlled by Kuan Yew with an ironfist.
Today, Hsien Loong is doing the same thing.
I wonder if silencing his critics online will help him prevent the loss of another GRC in GE2016.
We have three more precious years to anticipate the outcome.
Last but not least, let us netizens STAND TOGETHER AS ONE, and we share not DRUMS but TRUTH and LIGHT.
HAPPY NATIONAL DAY.

Gay Police
It is GOOD that the Singapore Police Force is not disgraced.
Nevermind CPIB could not produce enough evidence.
CPIB officers are NOT police officers.
Nevermind the AG Chamber did not win the case against Mr Gay.
Deputy Public Prosecutors are not representing the Blues either.
Mr Gay is the symbol of the Mata.
Mrs Gay has a mole on her face.
He is Free to go.
This means, the Police remains uncorrupted at large.

Protect 377A, Protect Our Leaders
After much deliberation, i have gathered that
Section 377A should not be repealed for 1 heavenly reason:
if any man commits a sexual act with any of our male leaders, eg insert his penis into their assholes,
we can prosecute them under this act.
Singapore, WE NEED TO PROTECT OUR LEADERS.

WIN liao LAW
Lee Ka Shing says "Rule by Money!"
Papa Lee says "We don't need your Money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
WIN liao LAW.
This is one of the reasons why Papa Lee has my utmost respect.
The Lawman is famous for defying gravity and performing stunts that no one, i repeat, NO ONE else can ever accomplish in his life time in sg,
Not even BN the reporter.
It is by LAW that the sovereignty of Singapore was established.
The LAW says that two men performing sexual acts on each other is criminal.
Interesting that while the Church believe in grace, they are now supporting the LAW to criminalize gays.
Hmm...
So can i say that the Church is still under the LAW?
Please help me ask Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church, Yang Tuck Yoong this question.
Any thoughts, ladies especially?

WAKE UP CALL 2013
The Citizens of Singapore have never been so Men United.
In the light of the population white paper saga, all eyes can see what is good for the CORE,
and most importantly, who constitute the CORE.
Leaders of our nation, it is time to WAKE UP.
The country belongs to every citizen.
We have the right to say NO to bad policies.
YES, this idea of influx of foreigners, probably started by Mr Khaw Boon Wan (as spread by the PA grassroots...) is really one pandora box that could end PM Lee Hsien Loong's reign in parliament.
If not by 2016, perhaps 2026.
By 2030, it will be The Workers' Party who will reverse the Sky for Singapore.
But Hsien Loong can do something to change all these.
He has the POWER.
He just need to think clearly.
And may the people all say for the last time...
"PM Lee is a good PM."

The Economist who isn't jamming brakes
Well, well, look who's talking... An Economist residing in the PMO...
We have a Think-Tank in the cabinet and he is not an easy person to manage, as far as The WP is concerned.
Iswaran said that The WP is proposing "jamming brakes on the population growth" which will hurt the nation's economy, and that PAP is just "stepping on the brakes to have a smooth landing..."
So PAP's 6.9million worst case scenario which scares the shit out of many true blue Singaporeans is just "stepping on the brakes" as far as Iswaran is concerned.
Hmm...
Well, while i am not expert in Economics, i do have some common sense like you out there, which i believe i can apply here...
1. Our REAL problem is natural birth, and the rate is below 2.1, meaning that if Singaporeans don't start f**king more and making babies, the economy and workforce will get a hit in the long-run.
2. Bringing in foreigners, and later giving them PR and later Citizenship is only a temporary solution. If the objective is to grow the CORE, then we must breed Singaporeans by birth. People who are handed citizenship will take YEARS to develop loyalty to the nation, and they cannot be considered as the CORE.
3. The more viable way of encouraging fellow Singaporeans to become parents are:
3a) Help the middle class with more birth and housing incentives.
3b) Giving recognitions to people who become parents, whether they are legally married or not.
3c) Have better income tax-relief for having more children.
The government might want to consider the above suggestions.
It's a long way to go, but together, We Singaporeans BOLEH !
Majulah Singapura.
And Happy Chinese Snake Year 2013.

Real Leader of the Opposition
Many Singaporeans might be wondering, with all the whoo-ha going on in the political scene, who is ...
the REAL LEADER of our dear Opposition Camps?
or rather, is there one at all?
Kenneth: I am the Leader of the Opposition of course. As the son of the late JBJ, notorious for opposing PAPA LEE in the parliament in the 80s, i am the successor to the Sceptre of Rebellion. I wield the...
Chee: Fork you Kenneth! Go eat your shit. You haven't been around when i went on hunger strike and all the journalists chased after me day and night for exclusives. I am the...
Desmond: Hello Chee, Bye!, you go and suck your mommy better siah... i use computer, no need Rally also can take down Punggol East one... if you don't believe, i can show you my...
Low: Gentlemen and Gentlemen, as you have already been informed, my party has the biggest opposition stake in the existing parliament. Kenneth is talking on past glory, Chee is using sympathy to get votes and Desmond really thinks the STUPID computer can solve the problem for the people?
and the four started arguing non-stop for 7 days 7 nights...
And on the 26th January (Deja Vu?) ....
Loong cried out: Thank you leaders of of the opposition. I hereby officially declare the Four of You,
LEADERS OF THE DEAR OPPOSITION, muahaha....!

No votes for him then...
I read RazorTV's interview on Poh Koon with much amused.
He put in soooo much time and effort to convince people he is from a HUMBLE beginning,
and now he is tell YOU he doesn't need your "sympathy votes".
Hypocrite or not, you decide with your vote.
