Good Monday to fellow citizens. This year, instead of giving you the usual National Day Message, BN shall tell you a story instead.
It is the story of an ancient kingdom.
And it goes like this...
Chapter 1 - The Discovery
In year BC7000, there was a kingdom of the Mystic Isles of the MoonFiveStars. The isles was ruled by a King, called Xuan Long 玄龙。He was nicknamed "Dragun", because he was the King who issued out guns to all his imperial guards and his elite constables. The kingdom was run with an ironfist, where every court officials took direct orders from him.
Of course, Xuan Long was a wise and benevolent ruler. He believed in strict laws and enforcement to keep the social fabric in place. He tolerated no corruption at all. Many of his court officials soon began to dislike him, for they felt that he was too stringent in control. Soon, there were evil ones who began to plot to overthrow him.
Words soon gets to the ears of the King. He was a little shaken at first, wondering...
"Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? I did so much for my people, why do they want to replace me with another mad dog from Class95?? "
The King called forth his most trusted advisers. There were three of them.
The first, Ah Sing, said, "Your majesty, we must control each and every family, then we can fish out the secret hideouts of the bandits."
The second, Ah Cai, said, "Your majesty, we must control the finances of everyone, monitoring who evades tax and who is corrupt, then we can trace the culprits."
The third, and the most crafty advisor, Ah Jin, suggested softly, "We must poke our nose into everyone's face, the tea houses, the pubs, the marketplace and most importantly the temples. Then, we can hear from the people's mouth who are with you and who are not! "
Xuan Long liked the third idea from Ah Jin. No, he LOVED it! He then dismissed the three and pondered over it for 7 days 7 nights.

Chapter 2 - The Four Inspectors
On the Eight Days (not the Mediacock magazine la...hallo??!) .... And on the Eighth Day, he called upon his Chief Eunuch "Thatman".
"Thatman, I need you to assemble a team of 4 elites, each having different skills and abilities. I want you to infiltrate them into the marketplace. Each of them shall move into the FOUR TEMPLES of worship."
The King roared!
"Yes, your majesty! " Thatman retired from His Majesty's Chamber.
The next day he came back with 4 persons.
They bowed before the King.
The first one said, "My name is Tie-Jiao 铁脚 (Iron-Feet), and I specialize in the Shaolin iron kicks. I can breakthrough walls and destroy metals without much effort with just One Kick. Last but not least, I am expert in penalty kicks!! "
Xuan Long nodded.
The second one answered "I am Zhui-Ming 追名(Chasing-Fame). I am the master thief and spy. I move in shadows and no one can detect me, but I can see everyone's movement and hear what they say. Most importantly, I aim to be the MoonFiveStars Idol 2012 ! =D "
Xuan Long smiled.
The third person was a fat man. If you expect him to be sitting on a wheel-chair... sorry arh... this is a different story.... His name was...
"Wu-Lian 无脸 (Faceless) or rather "Bo-Bin" in the special dialect. I can move objects with my mind and most importantly, i can read faces like a book. This, I call it Facebook! "
"Wah-zaRn !!!" Xuan Long finally got impressed and opened his golden mouth.Got garlic breath i think...
"And how about you, Mr... ?" The King points his right index finger towards the fourth person. She was not a man, but rather, a short-haired lady.
She stood still and bowed her head, not answering the King.
Thatman saw something amiss and quickly intercepted, "Err, your majesty... Her name is Xia-Xue 下雪(Falling Snow...) Xia-Xue is not very THE good in public speaking, but she is the greatest OBSERVER and Writer. Her best gift is her nose. She can smell a rat from 10km away. No corruption can escape her eyes. Her hands are fastestestestest than the spinning flying daggers of infamous Bandit Khiang. Her tongue can detect poison just by being 1cm close uncontacted. And finally, her EARS can detect lies. ALL KINDS OF LIES, and especially white lies - the dirtiest form of lies.
The King was trembling....
"Got such a monster meh?" He questioned.
"My Lord, trust me ya! " Chief Eunuch Thatman tried his best to introduce the quiet Xia-Xue.
"Hmmm.... Okie.... in that case, issue them immediately with my Golden Badges and send then to the respective FOUR MEGA TEMPLES.
And THE FOUR were despatched as follows:
铁脚 Tie-Jiao - Temple of the Fire in the East
追名 Zhui-Ming - Temple of the Waters in the North
无脸 Wu-Lian (Bo-Bin) - Temple of the Metals in the West
and
下雪 Xia-Xue - Temple of the Mother Earth in the South.
There is still one Temple left in the 5 elements.
..................................................The Temple of Wood.
What will happen to the four Imperial Inspectors of King 玄龙 ? Will 下雪 the silent assassin accomplish her mission?
