Lovely Yaacob

Good morning Yaacob! Good morning to the most Charismatic Minister in the Cabinet of the Republic of Singapura.

I read your post on netiquette with a laugh, and let me answer your questions with a smile =).

You seemed troubled by the fact that many netizens, including BN, are posting opinions on ministers online. First, let me ask you: Do you want to hear flattery notes by your civil service counterparts, or

do you prefer to hear the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?

If you re-read my post on corruption, you would have noticed the following:

1. I DID NOT say FOR SURE that anyone in the cabinet is CORRUPT.

~ I questioned the possibility. Unless you can be so 100.00000% confident that ALL of you are PERFECT, i reserve my right to make a hypothesis. Just a hypothesis: which can be wrong, my lovely Yaacob.

2. Regarding Soo Sen, the news was circulated by the PA grassroots. If you think my report is incorrect, i shall make amendment here.

"It is circulated by People's Association grassroots that Soo Sen was asked to leave because Hsien Loong received pictures of him hugging China women."

If you want to insist this is just "rumour", so be it. Yaacob, you are entitled to your views too. But there is a saying, "There is no waves if there is no wind," =)

"If you think let's say a certain minister is lousy, that's an opinion, we won't go after you..."

The above is what you said, verbatim.

I would like to concur with you that in my humble opinion, there is indeed one Minister who is lousy. I say he is lousy, not incompetent. Lousy because he has no contribution in the grassroots before GE2011, and he was parachuted into a GRC, bypassed the voting process ......

...........................and now happily Act as a Minister, and in future, could perhaps even bypass my favourite Chee Hean to become the 4th PM !

I rest my case.

Adjourn 5 weeks, if you want, lovely and Charismatic Yaacob. You too would make an ideal PM, really...

Condom Olympics

It's time we come clean and call it by what it is - Condom Olympics.

Althletes are mostly high sex drive people. The game is nothing but a gigantic sex party to them once every four years. When you see a sock hanging at the door knob of a room in the Olympics Village, it's a sign asking you to stay away.

Welcome to SEX.

Condoms are never enough in this big gala. People enjoy because they F**K another who cannot speak their language. A diplomatic tie, you can call it. They bring back good tidings to their home country, that which lala nation's p****, or v***** is the best.

Is there anything wrong with such practice or culture?

I don't think judging would solve anything. I am not a saint.

To all Singapore athletes flying to London for the games between 27 July - 12 August, all i can say, is...

ENJOY !

His Majesty

Let's be honest.

Chee Hean might not be the 4th PM after all.

Looking at the facts:

Now (2012)
Hsien Loong - 60 (in office since 2004 - 8 years)

Chee Hean - 58
Chun Sing - 43

Assuming the King retires 10 years from now in 2022, their ages will be

Hsien Loong - 70 (18 years in office - enough)

Chee Hean - 68
Chun Sing - 53

Do you think His Majesty will pass the throne to 68-old man or 53-young man?

Not that Chee Hean cannot be a good PM at 68. But we know the Civil Service System. They change in generation. By 2022, Chun Sing would have been very PRO (not PROstitute, but PROfessional) in Cabinet affairs, assuming he doesn't screw up like Ser Luck lah...

Actually i feel sad for Chee Hean. So near yet soooo far. He must be praying to whatever deity he believes in day and night. Who doesn't want to have a taste of what crowning is like, especially when you are the deputy?

So... CH or CS, we shall see!

Citizens

We, the citizens of Singapore, are the ones who rule the country.

Most people are taught from school that our government is sitting right at the top, the civil service in the middle, and the people right below.

It appear to look like this

GOVERNMENT
CIVIL SERVICE
CITIZENS

Let us get this right.

The proper order should be

CITIZENS
GOVERNMENT
CIVIL SERVICE

Remember, we vote in the party to be the temporary care-taker in our country for the next 4-5 years. We are the rulers of this island. They are the stewards. Parties come and go, but citizens stay, whether you have ever gone to prison or not.

Corruption

Today, we talk about corruption.

In Singapore, our government invested lots of money to groom scholars, only to result in some superscale officers becoming corrupted at the peak of their careers.

What has gone wrong? Aren't they well paid? Don't they have family to take care of?

Both men in the picture fell to women who used them for business purposes. The deal? Sexual gratification. These two gentlemen have disgraced not only SCDF and CNB, but they have also tarnished the image of PAP, the body that developed them in their careers.

Now that makes me wonder, how about our cabinet? Is it possible that any Minister is capable of sinning too? No one, except the PM and the CPIB knows. So far as we are aware, Bow Tan and Kan Seng have exited the cabinet so suddenly after GE2011. Is there anything the public might need to know about these two persons? Have they compromised their integrity in such a way that the PM needs to ask them to resign before public outcry?

Last time Soo Sen was asked to go, because PM received photos of him hugging China women in Joo Chiat. "China women" if you know what I mean. Sometimes when a person put his head above the clouds, he can lose touch with the ground.

People, I urged each and every one of you to monitor our leaders. It is our civic responsibility to ensure that they observe the basic rules of honesty and integrity in governance. We are the ones who vote them in once every 4-5 years, and when we make a mistake, we REPENT for 4-5 years like what Harry said.

This is my first proper article after the migration from newsintercom, and I hope you will continue to support me so I can share with you my field reports.
